Photographer Tony Davis came of age on the football terraces of the 1970s and on the dance floors of Northern Soul all-nighters including Wigan Casino. However it was during the 1990s that rave culture caught his attention and this time he took his camera.
‘It was a magical time when people were fully immersed in the moment. The acid house and rave scenes of the 80s/90s were one of the last cultural movements before the rise of mobile phones and social media. There was a sense of freedom and spirit that wont be seen again.”
