Richard Davis (b.1965) is a British social documentary and portrait photographer from Birmingham, UK.
Richard’s important documentary photography work in Hulme, Manchester captured the mood and spirit of life on the fringes of Thatcher’s Britain.
As well as his documentary photography work, Richard captured the many bands, comedians and artists that came to prominence during Manchester’s creative explosion of the late 1980s.
Richard’s images of Hulme were featured in our debut exhibition at The Social in London.
