About the Photographer | Don Tonge
Don Tonge has pursued a lifelong passion for Documentary Photography with an extensive archive dating back to the early 1970s. Don’s archive heavily features the daily lives of working class people in his home town of Bolton, as well as other bodies of work including his British Seaside resort and Day at The Races series.
Don’s work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions throughout the UK and is part of the BCA touring exhibition ‘Life in the North – 1970s-1980s.’
