Adam Burton documented his time living on John Nash Crescent in Hulme, Manchester, during the mid-1980s. During his time in Hulme, Burton worked at Cosgrove Hall Studios, famous for creating the Danger Mouse cartoon, among many others. Burton left Hulme towards the late 1980s and now lives in Wales.
Burton: “For anyone in Hulme at this time, there will be familiar and forgotten things, and for those who were not, I hope it proves an interesting record of that time and place. Although so much seemed drab and cold, depressing and sometimes without hope, there was a great sense that we were all in it together.”
