British Culture Archive works closely with photographers, estates and the lab to ensure every order is produced, packed and dispatched with care.
UK print and book orders are fulfilled within 2 to 4 working days.
International orders are fulfilled within 5 to 7 working days.
Delivery times may vary slightly during busy periods. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
All orders are dispatched using tracked delivery services. Tracking details are provided once your order has been dispatched.
Books are despatched in professional protective packaging.
Small prints are packed flat using professional art packaging. Larger prints are carefully rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube.
All orders are packed to help ensure they arrive in excellent condition.

If your delivery address is outside the UK, your order may be subject to local customs duties or import taxes. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
You have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To cancel an order, please email contact@britishculturearchive.co.uk within this period, quoting your order number. You then have a further 14 days to return the item.
Items should be returned securely packaged and in their original condition. You are responsible for return postage for change of mind returns, and we recommend retaining proof of postage. We will refund the price paid together with the cost of standard delivery. Additional charges for enhanced or express delivery are not refundable.
In addition to your statutory cancellation rights, unopened books in their original condition may be returned within 28 days of delivery.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within seven days of delivery, at contact@britishculturearchive.co.uk. Please include your order number and photographs of the issue where possible.
We will review the issue and advise you of the available remedy and any return instructions. Where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return postage costs. Please agree the return method with us before sending the item and retain proof of postage.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
