Image Licensing

Rights-managed British documentary photography for editorial, publishing and cultural use

British Culture Archive licenses a curated selection of documentary photography from across post-war Britain to the present day.

The work is produced by photographers embedded in the communities and cultures they document, forming a sustained visual record of British life.

BCA represents selected works for licensing and acts as a single point of contact for rights clearance, image access and usage.

Recent and ongoing licensing relationships include collaborations with broadcasters, publishers, brands and cultural institutions in the UK and internationally.
