BCA Photographers Included in Tate Britain’s The 90s: Art and Fashion

Works by photographers represented by British Culture Archive, including Jon Shard, Mark McNulty, Peter J. Walsh and Tony Davis, will feature in Tate Britain’s forthcoming exhibition The 90s: Art and Fashion, opening in October 2026.

The exhibition explores visual culture in 1990s Britain across art, photography and fashion.

BCA has worked with Tate on selected archive material connected to the exhibition, including photography documenting club and rave culture in 1990s Britain. Licensing and permissions for the represented works are managed through British Culture Archive.

The inclusion of BCA represented photographers reflects the growing institutional interest in British documentary photography and archive material connected to Britain’s recent social and cultural history.
