Nick Wynne Photographs Used for Bleech 9:3 Cover Artwork

British Culture Archive licensed four photographs by Nick Wynne for use across cover artwork by Bleech 9:3, a Dublin-formed alternative rock band now based in London.

The images were licensed for the band’s debut singles and EP artwork, placing BCA-represented photography within the visual identity of one of the UK and Ireland’s fast-emerging new guitar bands.

Bleech 9:3 are led by songwriters and guitarists Barry “Baz” Quinlan and Sam Duffy, with James Quinlan on bass and Luke O’Neill on drums. The band have built a growing following through early releases, sold-out live shows and support across the UK and Europe.

Their self-titled debut EP was released through Polydor Records in May 2026. The band have also been signed by Kobalt, with industry support building around their songwriting, live reputation and wider international potential.

The use of Nick Wynne’s photographs reflects BCA’s role in connecting represented archive photography with contemporary music culture, record artwork and visual identity.

Nick Wynne’s work forms part of British Culture Archive’s represented photography. Through licensing, British Culture Archive continues to place documentary photography in new cultural contexts while protecting the value and authorship of the work.
