Alex Hurst is a documentary and portrait photographer from Liverpool and has been active since the mid-1990s. Her photographs illuminate the profundity of the mundane and the magic in everyday life.
Since 2008, Alex has been mainly working from her studio in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, and in 2021 she expanded into working in film and television as a portrait and unit stills photographer.
“I have always been very people-oriented, and I became interested in photography from a young age. I spent my teenage days wandering around the city and its surrounding areas looking for people to photograph.” – Alex Hurst.
