Peter J. Walsh’s photographs are closely tied to the rise of acid house and rave culture in late 1980s and early 1990s Manchester. Working from within the scene, he documented The Haçienda as it became a defining space in British youth culture, capturing the dancefloor, the fashion and the atmosphere of a movement that would shape music and nightlife far beyond the city.
All prints in this collection are issued as limited editions, produced on Ilford Smooth Pearl 310gsm paper, and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
